We’ve expanded into Scotland

We’re excited to share a major milestone in our journey, renaissance has officially launched a new office in Glasgow.

Our new base is located in the Briggait, a beautiful A-listed market hall complex in the heart of Glasgow city centre. This move supports our continued growth in Scotland and beyond, positioning us closer to clients and collaborators across the region.

Our Glasgow office is being led by Director Richard Campbell, a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers and current Chair of the Regional Group in Scotland. Richard brings a wealth of experience, industry insight, and leadership to the role. He’ll be working closely with us, the founding directors, Kevin Gilsenan and Helen Gribbon, as we build and strengthen our presence in Scotland.

“renaissance Glasgow will be a central base for our team as we deliver a portfolio of projects for our growing network of clients across Scotland and northern England,” said Helen.

“Opening a new Scottish office with Richard at the helm is an exciting next step for us. He’s widely respected in both industry and academia, and his deep knowledge of the Scottish market – combined with our technical expertise and strong project portfolio – means we’re ready to make a lasting and positive impact in Glasgow and beyond.”

Richard added: “I’m delighted to be joining renaissance and working with like-minded professionals who share a passion for quality, creativity, and delivering excellence in civil and structural engineering. I’m looking forward to building a talented and enthusiastic team in Glasgow, while also working closely with our established Manchester team.”

As Helen put it, “The synergy between the two cities makes this a natural next step for us as we continue to grow our team and diversify our portfolio. Being in the heart of Glasgow places us right where we want to be – accessible to our clients and collaborators. We’re really looking forward to officially celebrating the launch of the new office soon.”

This exciting expansion follows a strong few months for our practice, which included promotions at associate director level and a series of notable awards. The momentum is building—and we’re just getting started.
