The Gateway Project forms a new entrance to the University of Salford. Providing a variety of art and media facilities, it is expected to have a major impact on student life.
Working closely with the contractor, BAM, we provided the detailed design and construction information for all of the external works associated with The University of Salford’s Adelphi Building. From lighting standards and external seating, buried drainage infrastructure such as attenuation tanks and rainwater harvester as well as sculpture and furniture bases and a significant amphitheatre.
With our collaborative and pragmatic approach, working closely with BAM and the landscape architect, we provided considered and cost-effective solutions to this quality external environment.
