Shopmobility

The shopmobility and cycle hub buildings form part of the new Rochdale interchange and wider regeneration of Rochdale. The slender and elegant structural design was developed in close collaboration with the architect Burr Lenton Architecture and end user. To meet the limited budget, we optimised the use of structural steelwork and developed a raft foundation solution to both buildings to suit the poor ground conditions. We also provided full fabrication and detailed drawings for the steelwork fabrication and groundworks.
